This policy explains what information TecHalo collects, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have.
Effective date: July 3, 2026 · Last updated: July 3, 2026
TecHalo ("TecHalo," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by [Legal Entity Name], provides software for operational businesses, including Halo Flow, an all-in-one call center platform. This policy applies to our marketing websites (including techalo.com and the Halo Flow product site) and to the Halo Flow application, except where a separate agreement with your organization governs.
We use personal information to provide, operate, secure, and improve our websites and products; to process trials, subscriptions, and billing; to respond to inquiries and provide support; to send service and, where permitted, marketing communications (which you can opt out of); to detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and to comply with legal obligations.
When your organization uses Halo Flow, it may process personal information about your own customers and end users ("Customer Data") — for example, contact records, order details, and call information. For that Customer Data, your organization is the controller and TecHalo acts as a processor, handling the data only on your instructions and under your agreement with us. If you are an end user whose data is processed in Halo Flow, please direct privacy requests to the organization you interacted with.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the service you request); legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve our services); consent (for certain marketing and cookies, which you may withdraw); and compliance with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed:
Payments are processed by third-party gateways, which may include Stripe, Authorize.net, NMI, Square, and PayPal. Card data is captured through PCI-compliant, encrypted fields and is not stored by TecHalo in plain text. Within Halo Flow, in-call payment capture uses encrypted field types and a call-masking step, and card data does not touch the application database in plain text. Each processor's handling of payment data is governed by its own privacy policy.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the services, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customer Data in Halo Flow is retained per your organization's configuration and agreement, and deleted or returned on termination as described there.
We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the risk, including AES-256 field-level encryption, PCI-compliant payment capture, role-based access control, single sign-on (SAML), and audit logging that records who did what, when, and from where. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to review our practices.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) may request access to and deletion of personal information and may opt out of "sharing" or "sale" (we do not sell personal information). To exercise any right, contact us at hello@techalo.com. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the sites and, where permitted, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. Where required, we request consent for non-essential cookies.
We may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
Our websites and products are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
