The whole pickup line, handled.

Menu to kitchen ticket, on your own website. Here's every part of Halo Order — the guest-facing menu and cart, the pickup scheduling engine, and the operational tools that keep service moving.

Pickup scheduling

Slots that respect the kitchen

Set business hours per day, a slot interval (every 15 or 30 minutes), and a maximum number of orders per slot so the kitchen never gets buried. A prep-time buffer blocks slots that are too soon, and an advance-cutoff keeps last-second orders realistic. When a slot fills, it disappears — and a database-level lock means two guests can never both claim the last window. Holiday and specific-date closures take a whole day off the calendar in one click, regardless of your normal schedule.

Cart & checkout

Fast, familiar, friction-free

A floating mini-cart with a live item count follows the guest through the menu. Checkout runs on WooCommerce's proven flow with the delivery clutter stripped out — no shipping address, no dine-in fields. Guests check out without creating an account, add special instructions ("no onions, extra lime on the side"), and are held to a configurable minimum order. The pickup-time selector sits right above the order review, so the guest confirms when they're coming before they pay.

Payments

Your gateway, your money

Payment runs entirely through your own WooCommerce payment gateway — Stripe, Square, PayPal, or Authorize.net — so funds settle directly to your account with next-day deposits and no marketplace commission. Card data never touches Halo Order: PCI compliance is delegated to WooCommerce and your processor, and taxes are calculated by WooCommerce's built-in tax engine for your jurisdiction. Coupons and discount codes work out of the box.

Order dashboard

The kitchen's command center

Every order lands in a live admin dashboard, sorted by pickup time and filterable by status. Quick buttons move an order through Preparing → Ready → Completed, each firing the matching customer email. Open any order to see line items, variations, add-ons, special notes, and pickup time in one view. The kitchen ticket is a print-friendly, large-type layout with everything the line needs and no prices to clutter it — ready for the ticket printer in the pass.

Notifications

Guests always know where their order stands

An order confirmation goes out with the pickup time front and center, followed by automatic "Preparing" and "Ready for Pickup" emails as the kitchen advances the order. The owner and kitchen get a new-order alert the moment an order comes in. Every email is branded to your restaurant — no third-party logo, no extra email service to wire up.

Service controls

Switches for when it gets real

When the line is out the door, hit Pause All Orders — new orders stop instantly with a message you set ("We're slammed, back in 20"), and the menu still shows. Take a single item off with the one-tap Sold Out toggle. Set a minimum order and an advance cutoff so orders arrive with enough runway. These are the controls that separate real service software from a static menu page.

Reports

See what's selling

Sales reports break down revenue by date range, orders by item, and your top sellers, with CSV export for your accountant. A summary widget on the WordPress dashboard shows the day's order count and revenue at a glance. Because it's all your data, you can slice it however you like — nothing is locked behind a marketplace portal.
